Getting There

Car
If you are driving from the main entrance of Lake Bogoria National Reserve, head southeast on the main road. Follow the signs towards Kaburwa. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork and continue for another 5 kilometers until you reach the small village of Kaburwa. As you enter the village, look for the sign indicating Kipyutok Hill. The hill will be located approximately 2 kilometers from the village center. Parking is available at the foot of the hill.

Public Transportation
From the main area of Lake Bogoria, look for matatus (shared taxis) heading towards Kaburwa. The fare is usually around 100-150 KES per person. Once you arrive in Kaburwa, ask the driver to drop you off near the sign for Kipyutok Hill. From there, it is about a 2-kilometer walk to the hill. If you prefer not to walk, you can inquire locally about hiring a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) to take you to the base of Kipyutok Hill, which should cost around 200-300 KES.
