Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Lake Magadi and head south on the main road. Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers. You will notice signs pointing towards the Pedicure fish pond (4853+JH2, Magadi). Keep an eye out for local landmarks such as the Magadi Soda Company on your left as you approach. Once you see the signs, turn right onto the dirt road leading directly to the pond. The pond will be a short drive down this road, and you should be able to park nearby.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a matatu (shared minibus) from the main station in Lake Magadi heading towards Magadi Soda Company. Inform the conductor that you want to stop at the Pedicure fish pond. The ride should take about 30 minutes, and the fare is usually around 100 KES. Once you get off, follow the dirt road to your left for about 1 kilometer until you reach the pond. Be sure to check the matatu schedule, as they may not run frequently.
Walking
If you are staying nearby and prefer to walk, head south from the center of Lake Magadi on the main road for about 10 kilometers. After about an hour of walking, look for signs for the Pedicure fish pond. You will need to turn right onto a dirt path that leads directly to the pond. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the walk can be quite hot during the day.
