Car
From the main entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park, head south on the main park road. Follow the signs directing you towards Nakuru town. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the junction at Mbaruk. Turn left onto the Mbaruk road, which is well marked. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers until you see a sign for Kaptitany-The Ranch on your right. Turn right and follow the dirt road for another 1 kilometer. The ranch will be on your left.

Public Transportation
From Lake Nakuru, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Nakuru town. This will cost around 50-100 KES. Once in Nakuru town, ask for a matatu heading to Mbaruk. After a short ride, you will reach Mbaruk. From there, you can either walk or hire a boda boda (motorbike taxi) to take you to Kaptitany-The Ranch. The boda boda ride will cost approximately 200 KES and will take about 10 minutes.

Walking
If you prefer walking from the Mbaruk junction, head straight on the Mbaruk road for about 5 kilometers. Look out for the sign for Kaptitany-The Ranch on your right. This option is quite long and may take over an hour, so ensure you have enough water and sun protection.
