Car
From the main entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park, head towards the Nakuru town exit. Follow the signs for Nakuru town, which is approximately 4 km away. Once you reach the town, continue driving on Kenyatta Avenue. Nyayo Gardens Park will be located on your right side, just past the intersection with Uhuru Park Road. Look for the entrance marked clearly by signage.
Public Transportation
To reach Nyayo Gardens Park via public transportation, exit Lake Nakuru National Park and head towards the main road where you'll find matatus (shared taxis) heading to Nakuru town. Board a matatu and inform the driver you wish to go to Kenyatta Avenue. The fare is typically around 50-100 KES depending on the distance. Once you arrive at Kenyatta Avenue, ask the driver to drop you off near Nyayo Gardens Park. The park entrance is a short walk from the main road.
Walking
If you are near Nakuru town, you can walk to Nyayo Gardens Park from the center of town. Start by heading south on Kenyatta Avenue. The park is located a few blocks down on your left side. It should take approximately 15-20 minutes to walk there, depending on your pace.
