If driving, you will need to drive to Mokowe, where you can park your car at a secure parking lot. From Mokowe, you will take a 15-20 minute boat ride to Lamu island.

The boat ride takes about 15-20 minutes and typically costs KES 200-400 per person.

Ticket prices vary but generally range from KES 6,000 to KES 12,000. Upon arrival at Lamu Airport, you can take a taxi or arrange for a pickup to your accommodation on the island. Note that all transport on Lamu is by foot or boat, as there are no cars on the island.
