Public Transportation

To reach Konge using public transportation, take a matatu (shared minibus) from Lamu Town heading towards Mpeketoni. The fare typically costs around 100 KES (Kenyan Shillings) per person. After about 15 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Konge. From there, you will need to walk approximately 5 kilometers to reach the location at PVCG+Q2. Be sure to confirm that the driver understands your destination before boarding.

Bicycle

For the more adventurous traveler, renting a bicycle in Lamu Town is a great option. After securing a bicycle (rentals are typically 500 KES for a full day), head north on the coastal road towards Mpeketoni. Follow the same route as vehicles and enjoy the scenery. Once you reach the junction for Konge, turn left and cycle for about 5 kilometers to arrive at PVCG+Q2.

Walking

If you're staying in a nearby area and prefer walking, you can head towards the PVCG+Q2 location directly from Lamu Town. The walk will take you around 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the coastal path north until you reach the junction for Konge. From there, continue left for about 5 kilometers. Make sure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain may vary.
