After approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the V459+CX area, which is where Sabaki Gum Tree is located. The landmark should be visible as you approach.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Malindi town. Start from the town center and head towards the Malindi Police Station. Cycle south on the main road until you hit the Lamu Road junction. Turn left onto Lamu Road and follow it for about 3 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating the direction to Sabaki Gum Tree. The location is marked by a distinct gum tree, which is hard to miss.
Public Transport (Matatu)
From Malindi town, head to the matatu stage (near the market). Take a matatu heading towards Watamu and inform the driver you want to get off at the Sabaki Gum Tree area.
