Walking
If you are in the town center of Malindi, start by heading east on Lamu Road towards the junction with Moi Road. At the junction, turn left onto Moi Road and continue straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with the Silversand Road. Turn right onto Silversand Road and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will see signs directing you to Butwani Waterfront Park on your left. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the park shortly.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Malindi. Begin your journey by cycling east on Lamu Road. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Moi Road. Continue cycling straight until you reach the intersection with Silversand Road. Turn right onto Silversand Road and cycle for about 500 meters. Look for the signs to Butwani Waterfront Park on your left, and follow them to reach your destination.
Tuk-Tuk
Find a Tuk-Tuk or a motorbike taxi in Malindi. Tell the driver you want to go to Butwani Waterfront Park located on Silversand Road. They will take you directly to the park. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride.
Public Transport
Look for a local matatu (shared minibus) heading towards Silversand. Board the matatu at a designated stop in Malindi. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the stop closest to Butwani Waterfront Park. Once you disembark, walk approximately 200 meters following the signs to the park, which will be on your left.
