Follow the A2 for approximately 12 kilometers. Look for a sign indicating KWS Karare Station on your left. There may be a small dirt road leading to the station. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions as the last stretch may be rough.

For those using public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Marsabit town towards the park. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to KWS Karare Station. The matatus usually operate frequent routes. Upon reaching the drop-off point, you may need to hire a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you the remaining distance to the station, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. Always negotiate the fare beforehand.
