Car
From Nanyuki town, head south on the Nanyuki-Nairobi Road (A2) for approximately 12 kilometers. Look for the sign directing you to Kimunye and turn left onto a smaller road. Continue for about 6 kilometers until you reach the Mount Kenya Forest area. You will see signs for Forest Ecotourism as you approach. The destination's GPS coordinates are approximately -0.4154, 37.3109.
Public Transportation
If you are in Nanyuki, locate the bus station where you can find matatus (shared taxis) heading towards Kimunye. The fare is typically around 50-100 KES. Inform the driver to drop you at the entrance to Mount Kenya Forest. Once you arrive in Kimunye, you may need to walk or hire a local taxi for about 10 minutes to reach Forest Ecotourism, located at H8M6+R9P in the forest area.
Walking
If you are already in Kimunye, you can walk to Forest Ecotourism. From the main road, head towards the entrance of the Mount Kenya Forest. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and should take around 20-30 minutes. Follow the signs to ensure you are heading in the right direction.
