Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Nairobi Railway Station, exit the station and head towards Haile Selassie Avenue. Walk straight along Haile Selassie Avenue for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Uhuru Highway. Turn left onto Uhuru Highway and continue walking for about 800 meters. You will see the entrance to Uhuru Park on your right. The park is located at PR5C+5QG, Nairobi, in the City Square area.

If you are starting from the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC), walk to the nearest matatu stage located near the KICC. Take a matatu heading towards Westlands and ask the conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop for Uhuru Park. It's about a 5-minute ride. Once you get off, walk back towards Uhuru Highway, and you will see the entrance to the park directly ahead.
