Getting There

    If you are starting from the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD), head southeast toward Uhuru Highway. Walk along Kenyatta Avenue until you reach Uhuru Highway. Turn left onto Uhuru Highway and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see Uhuru Park on your right side. The park entrance is well marked, and it is a popular spot, so you should find it easily.

  • Matatu

    From the Nairobi CBD, you can take a matatu (shared minibus) heading toward Kenyatta National Hospital or any matatu that passes through Uhuru Highway. Board the matatu at a matatu stage near the Kencom bus station. It will cost around 50 KES. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Uhuru Park. The matatu will drop you close to the park entrance on Uhuru Highway.
