Getting There

Walking
From the center of Karen, head southeast on Karen Road towards the junction with Lang'ata Road. This should take about 10-15 minutes on foot. Once you reach the junction, cross over to the opposite side of Lang'ata Road. Continue walking southeast on the road until you reach Kerarapon Drive. Turn left onto Kerarapon Drive and walk straight for about 20 minutes. You will find Khaenri'ahn Ruins located at MMJ6+77F on your left side. Look for the entrance that leads into the community garden area.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from the center of Karen and cycle southeast on Karen Road. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the junction with Lang'ata Road. Cross over and continue cycling on the same road until you reach Kerarapon Drive. Turn left and ride for approximately 20 minutes until you arrive at Khaenri'ahn Ruins on your left. This method is quicker and allows you to enjoy the scenic views along the route.

To reach Khaenri'ahn Ruins via matatu, first walk to the nearest matatu stage in Karen. Look for a matatu heading towards Ngong or Bomas of Kenya. The fare is around 50-100 KES (Kenyan Shillings) depending on your negotiated fare. Alight at Bomas of Kenya and then take a short 10-15 minute walk along Lang'ata Road towards Kerarapon Drive. Turn left onto Kerarapon Drive and continue straight until you find Khaenri'ahn Ruins on your left.
