Walking
If you're in the central part of Westlands, you can walk to PlacesKenya. Head towards Ring Road, which is the main road in Westlands. If you're near Westlands Mall, exit the mall and walk towards the direction of Sarit Centre. Once you reach the Sarit Centre, continue straight on Ring Road for about 5-10 minutes until you reach the Westlands Commercial Centre. PlacesKenya is located inside this commercial centre.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
For a quicker option, you can use a Boda Boda. Look for a Boda Boda stand nearby, or use a ride-hailing app such as Uber or Bolt. Simply enter 'Westlands Commercial Centre, Ring Rd' as your destination. The fare typically ranges from 100 to 300 KES depending on your starting point and traffic conditions. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow safety protocols.
Matatu (Public Minibus)
You can also take a Matatu from various points in Westlands. Look for Matatus heading towards Westlands or those marked 'Kilimani' or 'Ngara'. Get off at the Westlands bus stop, which is usually near Sarit Centre. From there, walk towards Ring Road and head to Westlands Commercial Centre. The fare for the Matatu is usually around 50 KES.
