To reach Lake Naivasha National Park from Naivasha town, start at the Naivasha Town Centre. Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops nearby. Head north on Moi South Lake Road, following the signs toward the park. The ride is approximately 13 kilometers and will take you through picturesque landscapes. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the way. Once you reach the entrance of Lake Naivasha National Park, park your bicycle and proceed to the entrance.

Walking
If you prefer walking, begin your journey from the Naivasha Town Centre. Head north on Moi South Lake Road. The walk is about 13 kilometers and can take a couple of hours, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. Be cautious of traffic along the road. Once you reach the park entrance, you will see signs guiding you to the various attractions within the park.

Motorbike Taxi
For a quicker option, hire a motorbike taxi (boda boda) from any of the boda boda stands in Naivasha town. Negotiate a fare and tell the rider you want to go to Lake Naivasha National Park. The ride will take about 20 minutes depending on traffic. The motorbike will drop you off at the entrance of the park, where you can pay the entry fee and explore.

Local Matatu (Shared Taxi)
You can take a local matatu (shared taxi) from Naivasha town to the park. Head to the matatu stage near the town center and look for a matatu heading toward the Moi South Lake Road area. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Lake Naivasha National Park. The fare is usually affordable. Once you arrive, pay the entrance fee and enjoy your visit.
