Bicycle
Start from the Naivasha town center. Head southwest on Moi South Lake Rd. Continue for about 7 kilometers until you see signs for Mount Longonot. The road will take you directly to the entrance of Mount Longonot National Park. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes.
Walking
If you prefer walking, start from Naivasha town center. Take Moi South Lake Rd heading southwest. It is approximately 7 kilometers to Mount Longonot. This will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure to carry plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes.
Public Transport (Matatu)
From Naivasha town center, look for a matatu heading towards Longonot or Naivasha-Kinangop route. Board the matatu, which will drop you off at the entrance of Mount Longonot National Park. The fare is usually around 50-100 KES. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
