    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are in the Nakuru town center, start at Kenyatta Avenue. Head northwest toward the junction with Moi Avenue. Continue straight onto the Nakuru-Elementaita Road. You will pass several shops and small eateries. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach the entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park. Note that entry fees will apply, and you may need to show identification.

    Bicycle

    Begin your journey at the Nakuru Town Park. Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops nearby. Cycle north on the Moi Avenue, then take a left onto the Nakuru-Elementaita Road. Keep an eye out for traffic and follow the road signs. After about 5 kilometers, you will arrive at the entrance to Lake Nakuru National Park. Make sure to park your bicycle safely before entering.

    Public Transport (Matatu)

    From Nakuru Town, head to the Matatu station located at the edge of the town center. Look for a Matatu heading to Elementaita or Lake Nakuru. Board the Matatu; the fare is usually around 50-100 KES. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and you will be dropped off at the entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park. Be sure to inform the driver where you want to stop.
