This journey will take about 3-4 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you reach Garissa, you will need to take the A2 highway towards Nairobi. This road will take you through towns such as Thika and Limuru. After approximately 10-12 hours of driving, you’ll reach Nairobi. In Nairobi, follow signs to the B3 road heading towards Narok. The journey from Nairobi to Narok will take around 3-4 hours. Once in Narok, continue on the road towards Maasai Mara National Reserve, which is approximately a 2-hour drive. Please note that some roads may require a 4x4 vehicle, especially during rainy seasons. Ensure to check the condition of the roads prior to your journey.

To reach Maasai Mara via public transport, start by taking a bus or matatu (shared taxi) from your location in North Eastern Province to Garissa. The bus ride should take around 3-4 hours.
