Getting There

    If you are driving, start from the nearest major town in the Nyandarua Range, such as Nyahururu. Take the Nyahururu – Njabini Road and head northwest for about 25 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Aberdare National Park. Turn onto the road leading to Kiburu, which is the main access point for the Aberdare Range. Continue driving until you reach the entrance to the park. Be aware that there may be an entrance fee, so prepare some cash for this.

  • Public Transportation (Matatu)

    To reach the Aberdare Range via public transport, board a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Njabini from Nyahururu. The fare is usually around 100-150 KES.
