If you are driving to Dundori Forest, start from Nyandarua Range. Navigate to the nearest major road, the Nyandarua-Mai Mahiu road (A104). Follow this road until you reach the junction near the town of Ndaragwa. Turn onto the road leading to Dundori. Continue driving until you reach the coordinates P6XG+H62. Look for signage indicating the entrance to Dundori Forest. Be aware that some sections of the road may be unpaved, so a vehicle with good ground clearance is advisable.

Public Transportation
For those using public transport, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyandarua Range to Ndaragwa town. Once in Ndaragwa, locate a matatu heading towards Dundori. Inform the driver that your destination is Dundori Forest. The fare should be around 100-200 KES. After getting dropped off at the closest point to the forest, you may need to walk approximately 1-2 kilometers to reach the entrance of Dundori Forest. It’s advisable to ask locals for directions, as the area may not have clear signage.

If you are feeling adventurous and wish to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from Nyandarua Range. Follow the Nyandarua-Mai Mahiu road (A104) until you reach the Ndaragwa junction. From there, take the road towards Dundori. The total cycling distance is approximately 10-15 kilometers, depending on your starting point. Ensure you carry enough water and snacks, as there may be limited stops along the way.
