If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Nyahururu. Head northwest on the C73 road towards Ol Kalou. After about 20 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to the Mount Satima trailhead. The road can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the base of Mount Satima. Ensure you have a physical map or GPS, as mobile network coverage may be limited.

To reach Mount Satima using public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyahururu to Ol Kalou. Upon reaching Ol Kalou, look for another matatu heading towards the direction of the Mount Satima trailhead. Inform the driver of your destination, as not all matatus may go directly there. The fare will typically cost around 100-200 KES. Once dropped off, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the parking area at the base of Mount Satima.
