Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Nyandarua's main town, Njabini. Head southeast on the Kahuho-Geta road towards the junction with the Njabini-Kirima road. Continue along this road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction near Ol Kalou. Here, turn right onto the C69 road and follow the signs towards Rurimeria. After about 10 kilometers, you will find a dirt road leading to the base of Rurimeria Summit. Park your car at the base, as the final ascent is best done on foot.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a matatu from Njabini to Ol Kalou at the local matatu stage. The fare is around 100 KES. Once in Ol Kalou, catch another matatu heading towards Rurimeria or inquire about a taxi to take you closer to the summit. The fare for the taxi may vary but expect to pay around 500 KES to 1000 KES depending on negotiation. From the drop-off point, you will need to hike the remaining distance to Rurimeria Summit, which is approximately 4 kilometers.
