Car

From Samburu National Reserve, head northeast towards the town of Maralal. Take the C79 road heading north from Maralal. Continue on the C79 for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the junction for Barsaloi. Follow the C79 road towards Barsaloi, which will take you through scenic landscapes. Milgis Lugga is located about 15 kilometers from Barsaloi along the C79. Look for directional signs or local guidance as you get closer.
Public Transportation

To reach Milgis Lugga via public transport, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from Samburu National Reserve to Maralal. Upon arrival in Maralal, you can catch another matatu heading towards Barsaloi. Ensure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Milgis Lugga or close to it, as they may not have a direct route. The ride from Maralal to Barsaloi will typically cost around 200-300 Kenyan Shillings. From Barsaloi, you may need to hire a local taxi or ask locals for assistance to reach the final destination of Milgis Lugga.
