Car
If you are starting from the main entrance of Tsavo East National Park, head southeast on the main road (A109). Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction near Voi. Follow the signs to Tsavo PRide, which is located within Tsavo East National Park. Make sure you have your park entry fees ready, as you will need to pay upon entering the park. The entry fee for non-residents is approximately $20 per person.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Voi to Tsavo East National Park. Board a matatu at the Voi bus terminal that is heading towards the park. The fare should be around 500 KES (Kenyan Shillings) per person. Request the driver to drop you off at the main entrance of Tsavo East National Park. From there, you can either walk or hire a local guide to take you to Tsavo PRide within the park. Be prepared to pay the park entry fee of approximately $20 upon arrival.
Guided Tour
If you prefer a more organized experience, consider booking a guided tour that includes transportation from a nearby city like Voi or Mombasa. Many tour operators offer packages that include park entry fees, transportation, and guided services. Prices vary but expect to pay around $150 to $300 per person depending on the inclusions.
