If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Tsavo East National Park, which is at the Bachuma Gate. From the gate, drive along the main road within the park heading southeast for approximately 25 kilometers. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the way and ensure to drive at a safe speed. Once you reach the junction with the sign for HIPPO POOL, turn left and follow the unpaved road for about 5 kilometers. The road will lead you directly to HIPPO POOL, where you can park your vehicle and enjoy the scenery.
