    From Aberdare National Park, drive towards the Mweiga Gate. Once at the gate, continue on the Nyeri-Mweiga Road until you reach the Nyeri-Nyahururu Road. Turn left onto this road and continue until you reach the junction with the sign for Central Island. Turn right at the junction and follow the road until you reach Central Island.

    From Aberdare National Park, take a matatu or bus to Nyeri town. From Nyeri town, you can take another matatu or bus heading towards Nyahururu. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction with the sign for Central Island. From there, you can either walk or hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to reach Central Island.
