Walking
From the center of Gjilan, head northwest on the main street (Rruga e Dëshmorëve) towards the Gjilan City Park. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading out of the city. At the intersection, turn left onto Rruga 29 Nëntori. After about 600 meters, you will reach a bus stop. Here, you can catch a local bus heading towards Zveçan or you can continue walking straight for another kilometer.

At the bus stop, board the bus that is labeled Zveçan. The bus journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way. The bus will stop at various points, and you should get off at the Zveçan bus stop. From the bus stop, the Zvechan Fortress is about a 15-minute walk uphill. Follow the signs towards the fortress, which is located on a hill overlooking the town.

Walking from Zveçan Bus Stop
After getting off at the Zveçan bus stop, walk straight ahead and take the first left onto the paved path leading towards the fortress. Continue walking uphill for about 1 kilometer. You will see the fortress in the distance. The path is well-marked, and once you reach the entrance, you can explore the historical site.
