Breathtaking Views at Rugova Canyon Viewpoint

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Peja, start at the main square (Sheshi i Pejës). Head west along the main street, which is Rruga 29 Nëntori, for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Rruga e Dajlije. Turn left onto Rruga e Dajlije and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by local shops and cafes. After reaching the end of this road, turn right onto M68. Follow this road for another 10 minutes until you see signs for Rugova Canyon. The viewpoint is a short walk from the main road on the left, marked with clear signage.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Peja. From the main square (Sheshi i Pejës), ride west on Rruga 29 Nëntori. After about 1 kilometer, take a left onto Rruga e Dajlije. Ride along this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach M68. Turn right onto M68 and continue for about 5 kilometers. Be cautious as the road may have some traffic. The Rugova Canyon viewpoint will be on your left, accessible via a short path from the road.

• Public Transport

  From the center of Peja, locate the bus station near Sheshi i Pejës. Take a local bus heading towards Rugova Canyon. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will let you know when to get off. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Rugova Canyon viewpoint, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
