From Chatyr-Kul Lake, head southeast on the main road leading out of the lake area. Follow this road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the Kulunatinskiy Gosudarstvennyy Zapovednik. Turn left at the sign for the reserve and continue for another 5 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Kulunatinskiy Gosudarstvennyy Zapovednik on your right. Ensure you have your vehicle fuelled, as gas stations are limited in this remote area.
