Car
From Chatyr-Kul Lake, head southeast on the main road leading out of the lake area. Follow this road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the Kulunatinskiy Gosudarstvennyy Zapovednik. Turn left at the sign for the reserve and continue for another 5 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Kulunatinskiy Gosudarstvennyy Zapovednik on your right. Ensure you have your vehicle fuelled, as gas stations are limited in this remote area.

Public Transportation
Take a marshrutka (minibus) from the main bus stop in Chatyr-Kul Lake heading towards Naryn. Inform the driver you want to get off at the turnoff for Kulunatinskiy Gosudarstvennyy Zapovednik. The fare is typically around 100 KGS. Once you arrive at the turnoff, you may need to walk approximately 5 kilometers to reach the reserve entrance, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for a short hike.

Hiking
If you are already near the reserve and prefer to hike, you can follow the trail from Chatyr-Kul Lake towards the Kulunatinskiy Gosudarstvennyy Zapovednik. There are marked paths leading from the lake area to the reserve. This hike is about 5 kilometers and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, but ensure you bring enough water and snacks for the journey.
