Getting there

Car

From Jety-Oguz Valley, drive towards the Barskoon village. Follow the main road (A365) leading out of the valley. After about 15 km, look for signs indicating the direction to Barskoon Waterfall. Turn left onto a smaller road that leads to the waterfall. The drive from Jety-Oguz Valley to Barskoon Waterfall typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Be cautious of road conditions, especially after rain.

Public Transportation

If you are using public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Jety-Oguz Valley to Barskoon village. Marshrutkas usually leave from designated stops in the valley. Once in Barskoon village, you may need to hire a taxi or arrange for a local guide to take you to the waterfall, which is approximately 5 km from the village. Expect to pay around 100-200 KGS for the taxi ride.

Hiking

For the more adventurous, you can hike to Barskoon Waterfall from Barskoon village. From the village, follow the trail that leads towards the mountains. The hike is relatively easy and takes about 1-2 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to bring plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
