Journey Through Time at the History Museum of Karakol

Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey at the central square of Karakol, known as Ala-Too Square. From the square, head east on Togolok Moldo Street. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Lenin Street. Continue straight, and after a few minutes, you will come across a small park on your left. Keep walking straight for another 10 minutes until you reach a small roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto FCM5+93Q Street. You will find the entrance to ҮРКҮН ЭСТЕЛИГИ (the History Museum) just a short walk down this street on your right.

• Public Transport - Marshrutka

  From the central bus station in Karakol, take a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards the city center. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop near Ala-Too Square. Once you are at Ala-Too Square, follow the walking directions provided above to reach ҮРКҮН ЭСТЕЛИГИ.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Karakol. Start at Ala-Too Square and cycle east on Togolok Moldo Street. Continue cycling straight until you reach the intersection with Lenin Street. Keep going straight for about 20 minutes, passing by the small park on your left. When you arrive at the roundabout, take the first exit onto FCM5+93Q Street. After cycling for a few more minutes, you will find the entrance to ҮРКҮН ЭСТЕЛИГИ on your right.
