Getting There

    If you're traveling by car from the city of Osh, head northwest on the A371 highway. Continue for about 130 km until you reach the village of Arslanbob. From Arslanbob, take the road towards the east that leads to the Sary-Chelek Nature Reserve. Follow the signs for approximately 40 km until you arrive at the entrance of the reserve. Be prepared for a bumpy, unpaved road as you get closer to the reserve.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Sary-Chelek by public transport, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Osh to Arslanbob. The fare is typically around 100-150 KGS. Once you arrive in Arslanbob, you can either hire a taxi to take you to the reserve (costing about 1000-1500 KGS) or look for local transport options that might take you closer to the entrance of Sary-Chelek.
