Walking
From the center of Tokmok, head east on Tynystanova Street towards the bus station. Once you reach the bus station, look for minivans (marshrutkas) heading towards the village of Kyzyl-Tuu. The fare is typically around 50 KGS. Get on the marshrutka and enjoy the scenic drive for about 30 minutes until you reach Kyzyl-Tuu village.
Walking
Once you arrive at Kyzyl-Tuu, ask locals for directions to the Son-Kul petroglyphs. It's about a 2-3 km walk from the village. Follow the dirt path that leads into the mountains, which will be well-marked. Keep an eye out for signs or local guides who might offer to show you the way.
Hiking
As you hike towards the petroglyphs, make sure to have sturdy shoes and plenty of water. The terrain can be rocky, and it may take around 1-2 hours depending on your pace.
