The last stretch will require you to take a smaller road, which might be unpaved, leading directly to the waterfall. Ensure your vehicle can handle rough terrain.

For those relying on public transportation, take a local bus from Attapeu to Sanamxay. Buses depart regularly from the central bus station. The fare is around 20,000 LAK (approximately $2.00). Once in Sanamxay, you can hire a tuk-tuk or a motorbike taxi to take you to Nongmek Waterfall. The tuk-tuk ride will cost you about 50,000 to 70,000 LAK (around $5 to $7).
