Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Attapeu town. Head southeast along Route 16E, which will take you toward the village of Phouvong. After approximately 30 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Tiger Waterfall. The last part of the drive includes a dirt road that may require a 4WD vehicle, especially during the rainy season.
Public Transportation
To reach Tiger Waterfall via public transportation, first, take a local bus or songthaew from Attapeu town to Phouvong. This ride typically costs around 20,000 LAK and takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Phouvong, you can hire a local tuk-tuk to take you the remaining 10 kilometers to Tiger Waterfall. The tuk-tuk ride may cost around 50,000 LAK.
Walking
If you prefer to walk the last stretch, after arriving in Phouvong, you can trek the remaining distance to Tiger Waterfall. The walk is about 10 kilometers through scenic landscapes, but be sure to wear appropriate footwear as some paths may be rugged. This option is best for adventurous travelers who want to experience the local environment up close.
