Car
If you are traveling by car from the center of Bokeo Province, head southeast on Route 1 (also known as National Road 1) for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 3. Turn left onto Route 3 and continue for about 25 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Ban Hatsa. Once you reach Ban Hatsa, follow the local roads to the viewpoint, which is marked by signs. Parking is available near the viewpoint, and there may be a small fee for parking.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus or shared taxi from the main bus station in Bokeo Province to the town of Huay Xai. Buses generally leave every hour, and the fare is around 30,000 LAK (approximately $3 USD). Once in Huay Xai, look for a local minibus or tuk-tuk service heading to Ban Hatsa. The fare for the minibus is about 20,000 LAK (around $2 USD) per person. Inform the driver that you want to go to Phu Chi Fah Viewpoint, and they will drop you off at a nearby location, from which you may need to walk a short distance to reach the viewpoint.
Motorbike Rental
An adventurous option is to rent a motorbike in Bokeo Province. You can find several rental shops near the city center. The cost of renting a motorbike typically ranges from 70,000 to 100,000 LAK per day (about $7 to $10 USD). Follow the same route as described for cars: head southeast on Route 1, then turn onto Route 3 towards Ban Hatsa. Make sure to wear a helmet and drive cautiously, as road conditions may vary.
