Turn left onto Route 16 and continue for about 15 km. Look for signs indicating Wat Tomo, then turn onto the road leading to the temple. The last few kilometers may be on a dirt road, so drive carefully. Parking is available near the temple.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a local bus from Paksé to the Bolaven Plateau. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Wat Tomo. From there, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk or walk approximately 2 km to reach the temple. Be prepared to negotiate the tuk-tuk fare, which typically costs around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK.

If you are already on the Bolaven Plateau, you can hire a tuk-tuk from your accommodation or nearby village to take you directly to Wat Tomo.
