Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Vang Vieng town center. Head southeast on the main road (Route 13) for about 3 kilometers. Look for a sign indicating 'Kaeng Nyui Waterfall' and take a right turn onto a smaller road. This road will lead you directly to the parking area near the waterfall. The drive should take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions. Ensure to have some cash on hand for parking fees, which are typically around 10,000 LAK.

• Motorbike

  For those adventurous souls wanting to ride a motorbike, you can rent one in Vang Vieng town. After securing your bike, follow the same route as if you were driving a car. The journey is quite scenic and the ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Be cautious on the roads as they can be bumpy. The parking fee upon arrival is about 10,000 LAK.

• Public Transportation (Tuk-Tuk)

  If you prefer public transportation, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Vang Vieng town. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 30,000-50,000 LAK for a round trip. The driver will take you to the waterfall entrance, which is about 3 kilometers from town. Make sure to agree on a pick-up time for your return trip.

• Walking

  For the more adventurous, it is possible to walk to the Kaeng Nyui Waterfall from Vang Vieng town. This route will take you along the main road and is approximately 3 kilometers one way. It may take around 30-40 minutes to walk there. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water to stay hydrated.
