The most common way to reach Nam Xay Viewpoint from Vang Vieng is by renting a motorbike. Several rental shops are available in town, with prices ranging from 50,000 to 150,000 Lao Kip per day. From Vang Vieng, cross the Namsong Bridge, which has a toll fee of 2,000-3,000 Lao Kip. Follow the signs for Blue Lagoon 1; before arriving, turn left onto a dirt path leading to the viewpoint. The ride takes approximately 20 minutes.

Alternatively, you can hire a tuk-tuk for a return trip from Vang Vieng. Negotiate the price beforehand, with typical fares around 100,000 Lao Kip. The driver will wait for you while you hike to the viewpoint. This option avoids the need to navigate the dirt roads yourself.
