Getting There

  • Bus

    To reach The Rock Viewpoint via bus, start from Thakhek. Take a bus heading north towards Vieng Kham. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Vieng Kham. Wait at the market in Vieng Kham for the 2 PM bus to Na Hin. This bus will pass The Rock Viewpoint within 15 minutes. The second bus should cost no more than 20,000 Kip.

  • Motorbike/Car

    The easiest way to get to The Rock Viewpoint is via your own motorbike or rental car. From Thakhek, head towards the Mekong River and take Avenue de la Paix south for about 1 kilometer. Turn left onto Route 12. Drive for approximately 5 kilometers, watching for signage that points to The Rock Viewpoint. The entrance will be on your right side. Parking is available at the viewpoint.
