Once in Viang Xai, follow the signs towards Viengxay Caves. The caves are located about 12 kilometers from the town center. You can park your car near the entrance of the caves, where there are facilities available for visitors.

    To reach Viengxay Caves via public transportation, first take a bus from Sam Neua to Viang Xai. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving in Viang Xai, you will need to hire a tuk-tuk or bicycle to reach the caves, which are approximately 12 kilometers away from the town.
