Bus
From Vientiane, take a bus heading to Kong Lor or Lak Sao from the Vientiane Southern Bus Terminal. These buses can drop you off at The Rock Viewpoint. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. A one-way ticket costs around 360,000 LAK. Alternatively, buses from Thakhek to Vieng Kham can drop you off near The Rock Viewpoint. From there, you may need to take a tuk-tuk to complete the journey.
Car/Motorbike
The Rock Viewpoint is located on Highway 8. From Vientiane, the drive is approximately 3-4 hours. From Thakhek, it's about a 2-3 hour drive. The viewpoint is well-signed on Route 12. Parking is available at the site.
