If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Luang Prabang. Head north on Route 13 for approximately 2.5 hours (about 150 km) until you reach the junction with Route 1C. Turn left onto Route 1C and continue for about 50 km. You'll pass through several small villages and scenic landscapes. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Nong Khiaw. As you approach Nong Khiaw, follow the signs towards the Nam Ou River. The bridge is located near the river, and you can park your car in the nearby area.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Luang Prabang to Nong Khiaw. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station, and the journey takes about 3 to 4 hours. The ticket price is usually around 50,000 to 70,000 LAK. Once you arrive at the Nong Khiaw bus station, you can either walk (about 10-15 minutes) or take a tuk-tuk to the Nong Khiaw Bridge, which is approximately 2 km away. Just ask the driver for 'Nong Khiaw Bridge' or 'Nam Ou River' to ensure he knows your destination.

If you are already in Nong Khiaw and want to reach the bridge, you can easily hire a tuk-tuk. The fare should be around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK for a short ride to the bridge.
