From the center of Pakse, head to the main street where you will find several tuk-tuks waiting for passengers. You can negotiate a fare to Paksong District. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you're in Paksong, ask the driver to drop you off at Road 23, near Ban Lak 40, where Tad Gneuang Waterfall is located. It’s a popular destination, so the driver should be familiar with it.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Pakse. Head east on Road 16 until you reach the junction with Road 23. Turn onto Road 23 and continue for about 20 kilometers towards Paksong. The road is generally flat but be prepared for some hills as you approach the waterfall area. Look for signs indicating Tad Gneuang Waterfall, which will direct you to the entrance.
Motorbike
For those who are comfortable riding a motorbike, rent one in Pakse. Start by heading north on Road 16. After about 10 kilometers, take a right onto Road 23. Continue on Road 23 for approximately 20 kilometers. Follow the signs to Tad Gneuang Waterfall, which will lead you directly to the site. Be cautious as the road can be winding and may have local traffic.
Walking
Walking to Tad Gneuang Waterfall from Pakse is quite challenging due to the distance, but if you're up for an adventure, you can start on Road 16 heading east. This will be a long walk of about 30 kilometers. It's recommended to break your journey into segments, possibly stopping at local villages for rest and refreshments along the way. Note that this option may take several hours, so start early and prepare accordingly.
