    From Pakse, take a bus or songthaew (shared taxi) from the bus station to Paksong. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs approximately 25,000 to 30,000 LAK. From Paksong, you can hire a local tuk-tuk for around 50,000 LAK to reach specific locations on the plateau. Be aware that public transport options may be limited to the main road, requiring additional transport to reach some attractions.

    Renting a motorbike in Pakse is a popular way to explore the Bolaven Plateau. Rental costs range from 60,000 to 90,000 LAK per day, depending on the type of bike. Follow Route 16 from Pakse towards the plateau. Be aware of varying road conditions and drive cautiously.
