    Many travelers rent a motorbike or scooter in Pakse for the scenic 38km ride to Tad Fane. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. From Pakse, follow Route 16 east, then turn north onto Route 23 towards Paksong. The turnoff for Tad Fane is well-signposted at KM 38. Parking near the waterfall entrance costs around 5,000 LAK.

    To reach Tad Fane by public transport, take a minivan or bus from Pakse heading towards Paksong. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Tad Fane. The bus journey takes about 1 hour and costs between 20,000 to 30,000 LAK. From the drop-off point, hire a tuk-tuk for around 50,000 LAK for a round trip to the waterfall.
