Ferry and Walking
From Champasak Town, take the local ferry from the north end of town across the Mekong River. The ferry accommodates individuals, motorbikes, and vans for 20,000 LAK. Once on the east bank in Muang, head eastward towards Highway 13. Follow the road, then turn left through Ban Tomo village. The entrance to Wat Tomo is a 5-minute walk from the village.

Hire a tuk-tuk from Champasak town for a direct ride to Wat Tomo. Negotiate the fare beforehand, with a typical cost of 20,000 to 30,000 LAK. The journey involves a ferry crossing (20,000 LAK) and a ride to the temple entrance. From the drop-off point, there may be a 2km walk or a short tuk-tuk ride to the temple.
