La Folie Lodge provides complimentary boat transfers from two mainland points: Champasak Town and Ban Muang Pier. From Pakse International Airport : 1. Arrange an airport transfer with La Folie Lodge in advance for $45. Alternatively, take a taxi from the airport to either Champasak Town or Ban Muang Pier. 2. At Champasak Town, the boat landing is behind the Champasak Tourist Center. At Ban Muang Pier, follow Route 13 to Lak 30kms, turn onto Road 140, and follow signs to Ban Muang Pier. 3. Contact La Folie Lodge (+856 20 55 532 004) 30 minutes before arrival at either location to ensure boat dispatch. Look for boats with red and green flags. The boat transfer is free.
