Car
If you're driving from the center of Phongsaly, head northwest on Road 1C towards Ban Ka Lang Khouang. The journey should take about 1 hour. Follow the signs leading to Chom Ong Cave. The cave is located at PQ95+G9H, which is about 5 km from the Ban Ka Lang Khouang village. There is no entry fee for the cave, but you may want to consider fuel costs for your trip.
Public Transportation
To reach Chom Ong Cave via public transport, take a local minibus or tuk-tuk from the main bus station in Phongsaly. Look for a bus heading towards Ban Ka Lang Khouang. The fare is typically around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK (Lao Kip). Once you arrive in Ban Ka Lang Khouang, you can either walk approximately 5 km to the cave or hire a local tuk-tuk for about 30,000 LAK to take you there.
