If you are driving from central Phou Bia, head east on Route 13 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the Nam Xong River. Follow the signs for the river and turn onto the gravel road. Continue along this road for approximately 10 kilometers, where you will start to see signs for Elephant Cave. The cave is located near the riverbank, so look for parking areas along the road.

Public Transportation (Tuk-Tuk)
To reach Elephant Cave by public transportation, find a local tuk-tuk driver in Phou Bia. Inform the driver that you want to go to Elephant Cave (Cave of Elephants) near the Nam Xong River. The fare should be negotiated beforehand; expect to pay around 50,000 LAK for a round trip. The journey will take about 30 minutes. The driver will drop you off at the nearest point to the cave, from where you may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance.
