Getting There

Car
From Phou Bia, start your journey heading southwest on Road 8. Continue driving for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Road 13. Turn left onto Road 13 and drive for another 10 kilometers. You'll see a sign indicating the turn-off for Nam Xong viewpoint. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the viewpoint parking area. Make sure to have a map or GPS device handy as some sections may not be well marked. There is no entry fee for the viewpoint.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Phou Bia to the nearest town on Road 8. The bus ride costs around 15,000 LAK and takes about 30 minutes.
